In defense of academia

So, just out of curiosity...

When a pack of atheists stage a Satanic Mass at an Ivy League school, having quite possibly come just shy of obtaining a consecrated host to perform it with - and, keeping in mind that the entire point of a Satanic Mass is to be one big send-up and mockery of the Catholic Mass - I've gotta ask... have we yet hit the point where burning academia should be a live option? Something to consider?

No, I'm sure that it remains of dire importance to maintain the system and respect it.

Legitimately, it would be a much more educational experience to have the kids attend Mass (a real one) after some study about the symbolism and the history of the liturgy.

Attend a mass in the hopes of learning about what's going on? What insanity is this.

Isn't the point of most universities these days is to be "globally aware" or to produce "global citizens" (with some positive plug in for technology ie social media)? I can't help but laugh at such an institutional mission.
