Future scholarship is going to be a joy

Just looked at the latest Dalrock post, which opens with the following line:
Brad Wilcox of the Marriage Project made a video for Prager University that along with a rebuttal by MGTOW Turd Flinging Monkey has been getting a good deal of attention.
A world where university academics can be given a run for their money by guys writing under the nom de plume Turd Flinging Monkey is a world I'm happy to be part of. Sometimes I think I was born in the wrong era, but it's times like this that make me glad I'm in this one more than any other.

What shit. The Fecal Ape's reply seems only to apply within the context of men marrying a secular womyn.

I prefer Watson's take:
PJW on Marriage

Jaekwon,

I think you'll find the difference between a secular and supposedly religious woman is not as extreme as you might think.

Hey Crude.

Don't mean to derail or be a downer, but if you haven't heard yet, Doug Benscoter over at Fides et Ratio passed away yesterday, so keep him in your thoughts and prayers if you would. Thanks.

What? What happened? Was he ill?

Not sure, I'm hearing this second-hand. The local medical examiner's site is here:
https://mepublic.tarrantcounty.com/MEPublic/default.aspx
Go to the 24th of May and his will be the third one down.
The cause of death is still pending, but I'm getting the impression that this was unexpected.

This is the second time this year a thoughtful, intelligent, peaceful Catholic died, and suddenly too.

It's a rotten fallen world, at times.

Yeah, I was kinda thinking the same thing; let's hope that the rest of 2016 is kinder.

Malcolm -

Nope. It may be that I have tighter goal posts on my definition of a religious woman though.

To be fair, outside of religious reasons, I think a man would have to be retarded to get married today.

Jaekwon,

If you want to define a religious woman as a GOOD religious woman, go right ahead, but we can't have a very useful discussion about that.

I'd actually be amused to hear what qualifies as a good religious woman. And, for that matter, a good religious man.

I think both are important concepts, but that's one way to cause some explosions.
